making the essences - how they were made
In the 1920's, Dr Edward Bach, respected Harley Street Physician and Homeopath, began creating The Bach Flower Remedies by collecting dew from flowers in the early morning sunlight, just as the peoples of ancient times had done so to create essences.
Dr Bach then went on to develop the sunprint method, placing flowers in a bowl of pure spring water in direct sunlight, for the subtle energy of the flower to be imprinted in to the water.
As the number and type of essence ranges grew in the latter part of the 20th Century to meet the changing and more complex needs of modern society, so the ways of making essences evolved.
By attuning with nature and invoking the subtle energies of specific elements to imprint in to water, essences ranges are today created not only from flowers, but crystals, animals and even sacred locations or environmental energies as well.
The process of developing mother & baby essences was conducted under the guidance of nature and spirit, with each step being intuitively taken to create the range - just as modern day producers and those of ancient times have done.
mother & baby essences were made by attuning with nature and invoking the subtle energies of flowers and other elements to imprint in to pure spring water contained in a glass bowl.
Our flowers, including orchids, gerberas, cape primroses and sweet peas, and crystals for the range, had been intuitively gathered together in the weeks leading up to August 2005 when the essences were made. Other elements - such as sacred stones from Sedona, USA and wood from Australia - had come into our hands some time before, obviously in readiness for the event!
During meditation while seated around the bowl of water, we received guidance on the expression of each essence and how it could impact on the life situation which it is intended to support. You'll find full details in about the essences.
